Wes' last hurrah

To celebrate Wesley's last weekend with us before leaving for UCLA, Cheese and other GRX members came out in great numbers to see him get his game on at the JP Murphy playground in the Sunset on Saturday, Sept 21.

Mike challenges Wes to a little friendly one-on-one.

Oops, I guess it wasn't that friendly!

Sorry, Wes. We still love you.

Jon, our fearless leader.

Cheese is moving! No Longer are we meeting at Karen JuAN's place. Instead we moved about 16 blocks West to the SeaCliff District.

Candice's pad: 15 26th Ave, Frisco CA

Still the same formula:

Good food, stinky cheese, plenty of parking, warm friendly people,  but now we add a foosball table and basketball hoop to smallgroup.

Welcome to the first official post for cheese. We're a smallgroup that's part of Great Exchange Covenant Church in San Francisco. Below are pics of some of the stuff we've done the last two months. Good people = Good times.

who says cheese and oyster doesn't go well together? Some of the gang went out to hog island oyster farm for some oyster shucking.

last weds, cheese volunteered at the koret house. The koret house is low income housing for families with loved ones who are being treated at a hospital. We cooked and ate with the residents there.

afterwards, we shimmied on over to Karens place to celebrate Jon and Jacky's birthday. Tina made this awesome raspberry tiramisu from scratch.

Last weekend, cheese and sparks/24_7 went out to yosemite. It was goodtimes to eat together, mingle with each other, and conquer halfdome.

Brendan wondering the night before, "why am i here?"

The gang all prepared and ready to hike 17 miles of knee busting, toe blistering fun!

Overall, it was just an awesome trip to do something together as a group of friends and believers.

This is just a glimpse of some of the stuff we do here. More to come as the days go by! Our cheese motto:
